Else, select 'The printer that I want isn't listed' > Next • In the next screen, select 'Add a local printer or network printer with manual settings' > Next • Select 'Use an existing port:' > Next • Select HP > HP Deskjet 895cxi Printer (we would recommend that you click on 'Windows Update' if it's not on the list. I have an HP 895 Cse printer. Yes it is an old printer but supper dependable and don't want to have to buy another. I have a desktop that has Win7 Home Premium 64-bit on it and I can install this printer on there. It will not install itself so I need a driver. I can go to drivers on the HP site but there isn't one listed for this version of Win7.

I don't understand why I can't find one because I have a laptop with Win7 with the same operation system and the printer work on it fine. I really would appreciate some help with this. Is there a way to find the drive on my laptop and copy it? The driver is delivered through Windows Update. There are a few things to try: (the Deskjet 895cse and cxi use the same driver). If that does not resolve the issue the driver install wizard available from may resolve the issue. It's necessary restart my pc to run the container.

If the above do not help then try the following: click Start, Devices and Printers, Add a Printer, local printer, LPt1: (as a placeholder), Next, Windows Update and wait for the list to repopulate (this may take a few minutes). Once the list reappears click HP (not Hewlett-Packard) for the manufacturer and select the HP Deskjet 895cse driver, Next, Cancel.
