The Das Keyboard Model S Professional Is Designed
I know that I was buying a loud keyboard, but had heard that the feel of it would make up for it, but I haven't felt that the tradeoff is worth it for me. Potplayerrfor mac v1.0w88. Well, it's not quite the Model M IBM that I was hoping for, but it does have a reminiscent click sound and feel that I was looking for in a mechanical keyboard. The Das Keyboard sounded perfect, but I came to realize that the keyboard is just not working out for me.#1 My hands/fingers hurt after a few hours of use - probably due to my age (45)#2 The keyboard is loud - the entire office knows when I type, especially annoying during conference calls.#3 The keys have too much travel and too much resistance for my taste.I've order a 15 Dollar wired Microsoft keyboard, hopefully this will work better. On the plus side:- it looks cool- it feels heavy and sturdy.
Grand theft auto trilogy bound for mac. Also, its being advertised as a gaming keyboard. We do not feel as if it is a gaming keyboard, but more so tailored to an office worker.Cost is a little high compared to a Razer. Overall the keyboard feels really smooth and the special switches of this keyboard are really high quality and have a nice feel when typing and gaming. Or maybe you'll care enough to learn how to solder if your key stops working (so you can order custom parts and repair, I guess)?Or maybe you'll just buy a regular keyboard for $20 and not mess with this silliness. I love my earlier one, but wanted the 5Q lit keyboard for typing in dim conditions and also for the volume control to be able to quickly adjust it when switching between tube videos or websites with different volume levels. The 5Q did not live up to the Das Keyboard reputation.

Mar 25, 2014 Whereas the Das Model S added media capabilities by using a devoted key to flip the actions of many of the F1-F12 keys, the Das Keyboard 4 introduces dedicated hardware controls. The Model S Ultimate Silent keyboard is aesthetically similar to the Das Professional we reviewed two years ago, with the same glossy black finish and matte keys, although the 'Ultimate' removes.
I cannot comment on the notification feature because I have no need for it.If you are looking for a keyboard, I do recommend the Das Keyboards with the Cherry MX switches. I'm on my third replacement and some of the keys stick on all of them. There clearly are plans to implement more functionality, but with this keyboard being 3 years in production and in this bad of shape, who really knows! As far as the software goes, it's oing (!).
